A few days ago, I dyed my hair pink. An impulsive decision when shopping for fresh beauty supplies and I spotted a new permanent pink dye. I’m currently really loving it and hoping it’ll fade to a paler shade as time progresses and my roots start to grow out again.
Every once in a while, I get a much needed hair cut. However, since dying my hair silver nearly two years ago, I sort of forgot about getting it cut and focused more on maintaining colour.
However, summer is usually a time of change for me and this one has been no exception. I have a few festivals lined up so decided this was the perfect time to chop my shoulder length locks for easier maintenance.
I’m in love with the blunt cut of my new hair, having no layers or fringe to create fuss. Styling is seemingly easier and my hair is holding its style and colour much better than before.
Summer is quickly approaching and in Nottingham it’s perfect non-jacket weather. This cute crochet jacket/top I bought from ASOS (by Monki) is perfect as it suits as both an over top and jacket in one.
So I recently decided to dye my hair lilac/silver as I got three for two on Bleach London hair products from Boots. Even though it’s not all the same colour, I’m pretty happy with the results and thought it’d look cute curled for Valentines.
Here’s my outfit from the night including my white leather mules from a post a few weeks ago and my new casio watch. I hope you enjoyed this post, what did you do for valentines?
I am totally aware that I am in desperate need of a roof touch up, however the other day I decided that I’d play around with it a little and do something I wouldn’t usually do with my hair – not at first intentionally.
I began by doing my normal dutch braid routine that I do when I either don’t want heat on my hair or I have a little extra time in the morning. During this, the phone rang so I have to quickly put a bobble in where I had gotten up to and rush to the phone, however I kinda liked what this rush made me do.
Braids and buns.
And to be honest, I haven’t felt that cute and sassy around sixth form for a while – and I actually got a few compliments.
Hey! I’ve been waiting for my Alexander Wang X H&M jumper to arrive to write a post on that, but seen as that hasn’t arrived yet (one week later) I thought I should do a quick update.
A lovely friend of mine who does hairdressing offered to do my hair for me (how I’ve wanted it for years) silver! I was so nervous how it would turn out but I’m over the moon with the result!
